"The Assemblies of God Malaysia’s third national Bible school after BCM and MTBC, located in Borneo, Sabah, is committed to bringing the life-transforming truth of the Word of God into every church and every believer. It is a Bible school with a difference that seeks to help release every believer into their fullest potential in Christ Jesus.

The courses offered will lead believers into a fuller understanding of God’s plan for man, leading us into the Kingdom of God. Your church has total control over when to offer and how to conduct the courses. There are no logistical constraints. The teaching will help break religious mindsets to enter the abundance and fullness of Christ.

The courses are available in written form in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese. The Bahasa Malaysia version includes video recordings of the teaching.

OUR JOURNEY
Borneo Bible School (BBS) is a Bible school fully owned by the Assemblies of God of Malaysia (AG Malaysia) under the supervision of AG Sabah to produce Christian leaders who will serve in Borneo and nearby regions. BBS was started in 2013 to run the "Licentiate of Theology" 1 program to meet the credentialing demands of AG church leaders in Sabah.
Now, BBS already has a permanent building as an administrative and learning center. Al programs offered by BBS are recognized and accredited by BCM.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between BBS and BCM whereby all BBS courses are accredited, qualifying BBS graduates to continue higher level education at BCM.

Functioning across churches in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and primarily conducted at the AG church premises until November 2019, BBS has produced 73 graduates.
In March 2020, all face-to-face classes were suspended due to Covid and the movement restrictions enforced by the government. BBS pivoted to online classes in 2021 and this continues successfully to date.
Despite operating online, we continue to have regular enrollments. In August 2021, 39 participants from the "Iban Revival Ministries" in Kuching, Sarawak enrolled in our "Church Planting" course, bring the classes attendance to 50 online students. In 2022, BBS received 26 students and 2023, another 16 students.
As we continue shaping our students into faithful disciple of Christ, empowering them to live out their calling with conviction and compassion - BBS plans on embarking on the journey of church planting - marking a new vision and opportunity to cultivate faithful communities where love, hope and transformation flourish.
We are proud of the growth of BBS and can attest to it being an accredited and effective training institution in East Malaysia.
